Wood Grades

AB-Prime

A/B prime is our cleanest grade of wood containing minimal knots and small amounts of variation for a more uniformed appearance.

Also known as character grade, this is a high quality cut containing the natural charm of French oak. A beautiful mix of enchanting knots less than 40mm with cleaner boards including pins knots which gives a perfect balance.

Vintage

Each board is hand carved to create rounded bespoke edges followed by distressing and ageing to emulate the look of natural markings and character over time.

Fumed/Smoked

Our fuming process achieves a rich purity of depth which oils alone cannot create. The process enhances the natural variations and characteristics of the wood.

Pit Sawn

This is a Traditional method of sawing oak which gives the wood a beautiful textured and rustic feel. This type of flooring has an appeal to modern and character homes with contemporary and aged treatments available.

Reclaimed Earth

We use the finest rustic French Oak which has been naturally cracked and aged by the drying process. The cracks are hand chiselled & then part filled with ebony filler. This floor has individuality in each and every plank like no other.

Random Widths

We have 2 options available;

190/220/260mmx21/6mm or 148/190/220mmx21/6mm.

Endgrain Blocks

Our End grain blocks are individually hand cut and shaped to create a truly unique look. The end grain of the wood is the most durable surface compared to the traditional cuts. These designs can transform a luxury kitchen or create a stylish and warm welcome laid in a hallway.

Painted Wood

Solid painted colour & shabby chic designs made in our workshop. These will add a touch of modernism or compliment classic shabby chic designs.

Weathered Oak

The unstoppable natural elements create the most beautiful distressed timbers. This is a timeless collection of hand produced reclaimed wood flooring created as nature intended.
